This asagi bench will hone a wide host of different steels in razors or tools. It has one handsome streak of namazu at the lower right corner that is solid and does not affect the use of the stone in any way. The stone has a Mohs 3 hardness rating.
 
The lower front-left corner is nicked, as you can see, and the lower back of the same corner is also nicked. These flaws are taken into account in the pricing, but being cosmetic, they do not affect the overall utility of the stone in any way.
The left side has a long patch of ocher colored kawa skin. The other three sides have hand-sawn surfaces, a mark that all of the Hoard stones possess.
 
The stone weighs 1013 grams and is 192 x 72 x 27mm thick.
