#2124 is a classic. Epic in size, of the finest grit, the kiita face is splattered with large red renge blotches, fine clumps on down to and with micro spots which continue to the back side of the stone.
 
The sides are hand cut and scraped with a two man toothed tsuru-noko saw that was the finishing and shaping saw discontinued in the Meiji Period and seen on page 83 of my book. I have tested this stone on high carbon western steel blades, kamisori and western razors and bi-metal japanese kanna plane blades all with excellent results.
Kiita is the most sought after color in Jnats. Kiita is always rich and well balanced in both aluminum dioxides and silica oxides.
