The classic modern ultra-hard Ozuku tomae in an attractive mottled gray to blue pattern. These stones from the Umegahata valley's Ozuku mine are often paired with a Mikawa nagura progression. I find them to be very effective for hoining razors by the preceeding use of 8k synthetic and then finishing with a tomonagura slurry. This is one reason I always include a tested tomo with each stone.
