A 452 gram 3.8 pound asagi of the finest grit. This commercial quality and grade (size) stone has a perfectly flat top-side and a handsome kawa back that itself is 99% dead flat so it can be used as it sits on table top if you prefer. All sides are square but one corner was removed as seen, by the miner and it now shows that same kawa minerals at that area.
It is 8 1/6 x 3 x 1 3/8th inches thick, 206 x 78 x 43mm .

I test all of my stones and grade them as "fine enough for shaving with straight razors leaving no skin burn, and if is not, I grade them as fine enough and I test them for tools and knives."
 
Today I challenged the Okudo with a Henckels and a Towa. The shave, with the grain, was excellent with no tugging or razor burn from either the Towa tungsten steel or the Friodur Inox. The next best shave to that of a barbers, and they usually do some against the grain.
