#25 Ozaki knife Hachimai Tomae

Designated as a knife stone it could also be used for tools. A slightly softer suita that is full of black goma or sesame seed patterns against a buff when dry, to yellow when wet background. This is not a kiits stone but
instead an iromono suita.
Really easy to use it will sharpen most steels but will excel with old fashion carbon steel like the cleaver in photos. It will sharpen blue steel like the knife seen
at the right but the cutting is slower.
The stone is glued to the painted black wooden base. From the one side you can see that two of the back corners are undercut, and one corner
is missing.

The stone (toishi) has been lapped flat and the and edges beveled unless otherwise noted.
All of my stones come with a tested and appropriately sized tomonaguara slurry stone, and a money back guarantee minus the return shipping
.
