#252 Narutaki iromono tomae
A very homogeneous green & purple tomae that will provide some of the finest grit matrix for honing any blade including straight razors to razor sharp status.
A stone that can be used with just clear water, or with a tomonagura slurry which will by its loose grit speed up and triple the cutting process of this is a tool/knife size stone.
The back was flattened on a 3 foot in diameter lapping wheel found in the shops of most of the miners. Very true it will sit rock solid on any table top. Anyone could easily lap the back of this stone to make a double
sided hone.
The stone (toishi) has been lapped at and the corners and edges beveled unless otherwise noted.
